Texture is what gives a wall its character, and matching an existing one is a skill of its own. We spray and hand-apply the finishes people actually ask for around Asheville — knockdown, orange peel, splatter, skip trowel and hand-troweled Santa Fe — on new work and on repairs, and we always put a sample board or a patch of the real thing on the wall before we commit a whole room. On a repair we match what is already there: the same texture at the same coarseness, blended past the patch so it does not sit in the middle of the wall like a fingerprint. Furniture is covered, floors are protected and openings are masked before anything is sprayed.

Our Process

Match or Choose

On a repair we identify the texture already on the wall. On new work we show you the options and put a sample where you can see it in the room's own light.

Prep & Mask

Floors covered, trim, windows, cabinets and fixtures masked, and the surface primed so the texture takes evenly across old and new board.

Apply

Sprayed or troweled at the agreed coarseness, blended out past any patch, and knocked down at the right moment — which is a matter of minutes, not guesswork.

Clean & Hand Back

Masking off, floors cleaned, overspray checked. The room is ready for primer and paint.
