Replacing tile is a bigger job than laying it new, because everything the last installer did wrong is waiting under it. We take out dated floors, tub surrounds, showers, backsplashes and entryways across the Asheville area, get rid of the debris, and then deal honestly with what the demolition shows — a rotten subfloor, failed waterproofing behind a shower, a mortar bed that needs coming out, or a slab that needs levelling. You get told what we find and what it costs before we carry on, not after. Then the new tile goes down on a surface that will hold it, and the room goes back together with new trim, new silicone and everything cleaned.

Our Process

Look Before You Leap

We look at the existing tile, the age of the house and any staining or movement, and price the job with a clear note on what we might find underneath.

Demo & Haul

Old tile and setting bed out, dust contained, debris hauled away. The room is left down to a surface we can actually assess.

Fix What's Underneath

Subfloor, backer board, levelling and waterproofing put right, and you get a call with a price before any extra work goes ahead.

Tile & Finish

New tile set, grouted, sealed and siliconed, trim reinstated and the room cleaned before we hand back the keys.
