Asheville is the middle of everything we do. The housing stock here runs from 1920s bungalows in West Asheville and Montford to mid-century ranches in Oakley and Haw Creek to new builds going up on every buildable slope outside the city, and each of them wants something different from a drywall crew. An old house has plaster walls that have moved for a century and ceilings that were sprayed in the seventies; a new one wants a flat level-4 finish across a lot of square footage on a tight schedule.

We do all of it: hang and finish for new construction and additions, patch and repair after plumbers and electricians, popcorn ceilings scraped off and skimmed flat, knockdown and orange peel matched on repairs so the patch disappears, and tile for showers, bathroom floors, kitchen backsplashes and entryways. A lot of our Asheville work is the two trades together — a bathroom taken from demolition through board, waterproofing, tile and silicone by the same crew.
