Drywall & Tile in Black Mountain

Black Mountain, Swannanoa, Montreat and Ridgecrest sit where the weather comes down the valley, and a lot of our work out here starts with water — a roof that let go, a pipe in an unheated crawlspace, a creek that came up. Wet drywall does not dry out into good drywall, so we cut back to sound board, deal with what is behind it, and rebuild the wall or ceiling properly rather than skimming over a stain.

There is also a steady run of cabin and second-home work: rooms that were finished quickly years ago and now want a proper level-4 wall, ceilings replaced, and tile in the showers, mudrooms and entryways that take the worst of a mountain winter. And there is the everyday kind of job — a basement finished out, a bathroom brought up to date, a ceiling closed back up after the plumber.
